Songs with names in the title

Find a song whose title is exactly their name, from our hand-picked list or straight from Spotify. Then make it the start of a whole message made of songs.

Exact titles only: a song called “Laura”, not one that mentions Laura.

More than a song with their name

Lists of songs with names in the title are everywhere, but they stop at the list. A song with their name is a great way to get someone’s attention, and an even better way to start saying something to them.

With Messagify you write a message and get a Spotify playlist where each song title is a word or a phrase of it. Start with the song that has their name, and let the next songs say the rest: happy birthday, I miss you, thank you…

Found their song? Send them a whole message

Turn your message into a Spotify playlist where the song titles say it for them. Short messages are free.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find a song with someone's name in the title?

Type the name in the finder above. It looks first in our hand-picked list and then searches Spotify for songs whose title is exactly that name, not songs that only mention it.

Why can't you find a song for a name?

Spotify's search returns a limited number of results, so it can miss songs that do exist, especially for rare names or names with accents. If we could not find one, the name may still have a song: try another spelling, or build a whole message around it instead.

Do accents and spellings matter?

Yes. María and Maria are different titles, and so are Lucía and Lucia. Try both spellings: each one can lead to different songs.

What can I do with a song that has their name?

Add it to a playlist that says something to them. With Messagify you write a message and every song title says a part of it, so their name can be the start of a whole message.

Is it free?

You can try it for free: messages up to 30 characters cost nothing. Longer messages use a credit when you save the playlist, and credit packs are available inside the app.

What if a word has no song?

Messagify looks for a song whose title matches each word or phrase. If there is none, that word is shown as "not found" so you can rewrite it before saving.

Why do I need to sign in with Spotify?

We use your account to search for songs and to create the playlist in your library. We can read your basic profile (name and email) and create playlists, and we never see your password.

Can the other person listen to it?

Yes. The playlist is created in your Spotify account, and you can share it with anyone from Spotify. They only need a Spotify account to listen.
